Hello,
I was looking for an introductory class in gaelic.
However, all the classes on your website started in September. I was
wondering if you had any classes starting in the near future, any that
recently started that I could join, or if you knew of any other association in
the area that offers classes. Thank you.
Sincerely,

Hi!
I just saw that the Gaelteacht weekend was postponed. I was going to
send you the money and registration today for it. Someone else in my
Gaelic class at Pitt (Sinead) was also coming but she never received
the information to finish registering yet.
Let me know when it will be held. I really do not want to miss it.

Ta me anois sa cursa Gaeilge Ceathair ag Ollscoil University of Pittsburgh.

(In case my Irish above is faulty...)
I am now in the Gaelic 4 class at U. Pittsburgh. I studied at CCAC a couple
of years ago (Gaelic 1 & 2 [G 2 twice]). I'd prefer getting more intensive
practice
with speaking and listening skills at this point. Maybe I could do this together
with someone from one of my courses or pay for private tutoring. (Let me
know if you know someone who does this).
Thanks.

A Chara,
Tá súil agam go bhfuil tú ag déanamh go maith. Beidh Taibhdhearc na
Gaillimhe, Amharclann Náisiúnta na Gaeilge ag cur an dráma Scaoil Leis
an gCaid le Breandán M. Mac Gearailt ar stáitse le linn Féile Ealaíne
na Gaillimhe ón 14ú - 25ú Iúil (gan an 20ú Iúil san áireamh). Dráma
spraoiúil grinn a bheas i gceist a dhíríonn ar chúrsaí peile agus
iarrachtaí foireann 'An Ghaeltacht' craobh na hÉireann a bhaint amach.
Má bhíonn aon duine do bhur mbaill ag tabhairt cuairt ar Ghaillimh ar
na dátaí sin ba bhfiú go mór dóibh cuairt a thabhairt ar an dráma.
Bheadh muid fíorbhuíoch díobh ach an scéal a scaipeadh más féidir. Go

Ádh mór.

Alison plays the flute and Christian the drums, if you do any

Greetings,
I recently came across a 1907 Washington Post
article that mentioned my ancestor, Dr. Patrick J. Byrne, as vice-president of
the Gaelic League in Washington D.C. I was intrigued to learn
(apparently, by my finding your web site: http://hometown.aol.com/cngaeilge/glwash.htm)
that the League still exisits...at least I am assuming this is the same
League.
I am wondering if "Washington Gaelic
League" is the same league to which my ancestor belonged. Also
intrigued to know if you have any old records or photographs that might be of
interest.
Thank you. I look forward to hearing from
you.

I was reading your "Roisin Dubh" page, because my choral group is
singing an arrangement of the song in March, and I was interested in
some background information.
I love the emblem at the top of the page. Can you please tell me a
little about it? Also I wonder if our group could get permission to use
the emblem on our program. We are a very small, non-profit group called
Vocal Arts Ensemble in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Thank you,

localisation people, but we don't have any at the moment.
It is something we want to do more of and it seems there is a lot of work
coming up in the localisation world at the moment - have you heard there is
new legislation that all the county council websites must be in both english
and irish ?

Hello,
I
was wondering if there were any gaelic classes that
were currently being offered. I
noticed that there is a beginner class at the
Mt.
Lebanon
library, but there was no start date (it just said “the 10th”,
not month) posted. I wasn’t
sure if it had begun yet or not. If
it is already over, are there any classes that will be offered this summer? If
not, do you happen to know of any other organizations in the area that offer
classes?
Thank
you!!
Sincerely,
